What better place for a Historical Marker to be located than at a History Center. I was so disappointed that this place was not open during my visit but it just gives me a reason to go back to visit. This Historical Marker is located at the Kerr Regional History Center on 425 Water Street in Kerrville, Texas.
So who are Scott and Josephine Carr Schreiner? Well after a bit of research I found that Whitfield Scot Schreiner he was the grandson of Captain Charles Schreiner. He married Josephine Carr Schreiner in 1916. As a wedding gift they were given a new home on Waters Street by his parents. Josephine once represented her family as a Duchess in the Coronation in the Battle of Flowers in San Antonio shortly after graduating from St. Marys Hall.
